“KBB invites: AUSTRIA”

KBB launched another new cultural initiative under the slogan “KBB invites…”, with the aim of inviting representative artists from the selected countries.

On February 16th, the Austrian artists PRINZGAU/podgorscheck (after their station in La Casa Encendida in Madrid, within the programs of ARCO’06) presented some of their most recent video works, livened up with a talk, opening to the audience the work dynamics behind their pieces and the themes they develop (politics, globalization, violence…)

On February 17th RASHIM presented her only performance in Spain. This female duo of Austrian artists prepared an experimental dj set in which they combined different sound styles (jazz, intelligent techno, classical music, electronics…) turning the space into an abstract and fictitious environment.

The audience for this event was massive.
