About us
KBB, Kültur Büro Buenos Aires
Since 2010, KBB has been producing and promoting cultural projects and contemporary art locally and internationally.
It is a non-profit civil association that functions as a cultural office based in Buenos Aires for South America, analogous to its Spanish sister, Kültur Büro Barcelona, founded in 2004. KBB collaborates intensively with Toit du Monde, a Swiss association founded in 1991 with experience in the management and production of cultural projects with artists from all over the world.
The Büro porteño, promotes the production, reception and itinerancy of artistic projects; it manages cultural activities, invites artists for the development of specific works, in collaboration with spaces and institutions from various cities in South America.
KBB, Kültur Büro Barcelona
Since its foundation in 2004, KBB has been defined by a multidisciplinary spirit that seeks enrichment through encounters with new contemporary artists from the most diverse backgrounds. Thanks to this, it has promoted an active cultural agenda with important artists from Switzerland, Spain, France, Germany, Finland, Iceland, Austria, Belgium, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, the United States, Egypt, Iran, China and Israel, among others.
KBB has organized projects outside its own exhibition space in museums, cultural centers, galleries and concert halls in several countries with the idea of generating artistic and cultural exchanges. In addition to exhibitions, KBB is dedicated to the production of video art works, installations, CDs and publications. In 2009 KBB moved its headquarters from Barcelona to Buenos Aires, generating a bridge between both cities and continents.
