Pétur Ben is an Icelandic singer and guitar player who normally plays his own compositions. On the other hand, he has also worked with Nick Cave for his production of “Woyzeck”, and such Icelandic artists as Mugison and Slowblow. Between these jobs, he composed the music for Bulgakov’s “Fatal Eggs” (in collaboration with Höskuldur Ólafsson) and Strindberg’s “A Dream Play”, both for the Reykjavík City Theatre. He also composes movie soundtracks, and is currently writing music for the film “Kvikyndi”.
