KBB @ Isla de Ediciones, arteBA 2013

KBB, along with Jrp-Ringier, takes part in arteBA’s new section, Isla de Ediciones, with over 60 different titles.

Fundación Proa’s Isla de Ediciones is a new area of arteBA which, for the first time, dedicates a complete sector to art publications, understanding them as the motors of a circuit led by contemporary artists, writers, critics, editors, book sellers and printers.

the textual support has become fundamental for contemporary art and the number of publications about artists and exhibitions has multiplied.

Fundación Proa’s Isla de Ediciones emerges in the general concept of the fair with the central objective of promoting the main editorial projects of Argentina and Latin America, emphasizing the titles and collections that provide a theoretical and informative support on Latin American contemporary art. In addition, relevant titles, projects and collections have been invited which, without being specifically designed for Latin America, collaborate in offering information on relevant artists or institutions.
