KBB presents and co-produces “Santa Nalga” the first studio album of Meneo, by Guatemalan musician and producer Rigo Pex, who was one of the pioneers in mixing 8bits synths with the heavy bass of electro and fidget. Rhythms like moombahton had not yet been created and even the influences of dutch house had not touched the cadence of reggaeton. This is a seminal album where the Latin meets the 8bit in a clear way and with no return to any influence.
From the beginning of his career Meneo collaborated with KBB, presenting there his first live set and later the collective Micro BCN of which he was part. Then the adventure continued with the release and launch of his first album. In addition, he made his first international tour between Europe and Latin America as part of the cultural program in the “Of Bridges & Borders” book launch tour that took place in 21 cities in 13 countries between 2009 and 2010.
