Using photography, video, painting, drawing, sculpture, sound, and text by turns, Rondinone (Swiss,1963) is a virtuoso of forms and techniques. Developing surprising sensorial environments, he especially likes destabilizing our perceptions and unsettling our certainties. Rearranging content and formal elements through a personal poetic filter although taking directly from the outside world, he draws us into a synesthetic experience.

This monograph, released on the occasion of his first solo exhibition in the Whitechapel, recreates this work in all its richness, documenting certain pieces and most of his solo exhibitions made between 1985 and 2005. Published with the Whitechapel, London.
